Mobile Games Producer

TabTale partners with major rights holders including Sony Picture Entertainment, Mattel®, Zag Entertainment and others to create top casual games based on well known IPs.

The Mobile Games Producer manages the relationship with 3rd party developers to guide, design and improve multiple games, delivering high-quality experiences on time and on budget. Manage the entire product’s life cycle, from concept through post-launch content releases. Responsible for budgeting, scheduling and tracking development. Identify and mitigate risks associated with key milestones.

This result is achieved through strong partner relationships and deep data analysis to understand a game’s performance, its viability as a business, and its ability to scale. You’ll work with several departments at TabTale as well as external partners to improve and grow the portfolio of games. This position requires independent decision making with regular supervisor oversight in the areas of developer communication and overall product direction and health.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple games and relationships with 3rd party developers
  • Lead game projects through development, test markets and post-launch live servicing with regular managerial oversight throughout
  • Own the vision for your games alongside the 3rd party developers
  • Prioritize and allocate TabTale resources to support the best ROI for your titles
  • Identify, track, and report meaningful performance/progress metrics, and support the team with achieving performance goals
  • Help identify new business opportunities, be it new games, new platforms, new businesses, or more

Here’s what we need, up for the challenge?

  • Project Management: Ensuring projects are delivered on time and of high quality. Ability to manage project roadmaps and coordinate with development teams and internal departments to ensure the creative vision and timeline is maintained throughout development. Able to manage individual titles and an entire portfolio of games.
  • Game Mechanics: Understanding of gameplay mechanics, monetization systems, UI design, and other aspects of a game’s core design. Ability to deconstruct internal and external games and apply best practices to the portfolio
  • Business Development: Engaging with the BD department to vet new games and developments studios. Ability to work through the BD pipeline, working from initial sourcing to contract signing. Manufacturing business opportunities based on the needs of the company.
  • Team Management: Maintaining a strong presence within both the Production group and the broader company.
  • Decisiveness: Making and taking responsibility for, and demonstrating the commitment to appropriate decisions in a timely manner.

Got what it takes?

  • 3+ years of experience as Producer / Product Manager/ Project Manager for successful mobile or social games
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for computer science, statistics, mathematics or economics
  • A passion for games
  • Proficient understanding of Free-to-Play games and broader market trends
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with a unique ability to look at large data sets and formulate conclusions
  • Working ability to create wireframes and product specifications
  • Proficient written and oral English communication skills and ability to work with creative partners
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and in groups
